Steep and difficult climb to Worsley Trail from Limerstone Farm. Poor condition of bridleway/ route unclear across fields, plus gates tied shut en route. Worsley Trail itself good, with fine views across Island and across Solent to Bournemouth.
Bridleway down to Mottistone and Long Stone good but inexplicably blocked by fence half way down, so narrow, uneven footpath only way to go until it rejoined bridleway. Route down from Long Stone to Mottistone fine with more views. Then main road to Brighstone, turning there onto quiet lanes for return. No problems
