You then move to the Second Camp at 4,200 m, conduct equipment checks, and prepare for the pre-dawn summit push. On summit day, you ascend the upper snow slopes to reach the summit, taking advantage of the stable, low-rainfall conditions characteristic of August. Mount Ararat, a dormant volcanic peak in eastern Turkey, is the highest in the region, rising 5,137 meters. Its snow-capped summit dominates the landscape, overlooking the surrounding plains and valleys. After the summit, you return to the Second Camp at 4,200 m for approximately one hour of rest and equipment adjustment. From there, you continue your descent to the Main Camp at 3,200 m, where you spend the night.
