Am Anfang eher durch Industrie geprägt. Die Fahrradspur auf der Brücke nach Worms hat schon einen eigenen Wert, weil sie zwischen den Fahrspuren verläuft. Danach geht es bald bergauf, es gibt kaum Schutz vor Sonne oder Wind von Osthofen nach Alzey. In Alzey interessante Burg und der Marktplatz.
