Very well signed posted and prepared hike in the region of Ribatejo. Starting out near the village of Mariano's, the route goes along the small stream of Ribeira das Murges in the floodplain or Várzea and than goes up and in-between the sobreiros or cork trees, so traditional in this region and Alentejo. Calm surroundings and beautiful views.
