Die Tour führte mich vom Parkplatz unweit der Klöppelsklus hinunter ins Schierbachtal. Danach ging es durch schattenspendende Buchenbestände weiter auf dem Postreiterweg. Vom Postreiterweg zweigt ein leicht zu übersehender Weg ab und führt steil hinauf zur Elisabethöhe. Oben angekommen wird man mit einer schönen Aussicht und Sitzgelegenheit belohnt.
