Die Wanderung durch die Drachenschlucht ist ein absolutes Highlight in Thüringen. Allerdings hat sich das wohl rum gesprochen, so war es auch unter der Woche schon recht voll dort.
Den Rückweg kann man auch gut mit einem Besuch der Wartburg verbinden und von dort in die Stadt absteigen.
Eine Rast im Gasthof Sängerwiese kann ich nur empfehlen.
Auch mit Hund ist die Tour prima zu laufen.
