Today I walked a beautiful 6.39 km loop through the countryside around Vaals, and it turned out to be one of those routes that has a little bit of everything. I loved wandering along the quiet paths, passing old farmhouses that made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The small creeks along the trail added to the peaceful atmosphere, and I found myself stopping more than once just to enjoy the scenery.

Halfway through the walk, I treated myself to a delicious lunch at 't Klükske Café, which was definitely one of the highlights of the day. Before heading back, I stopped at a local fruit automaat and picked up some fresh fruit—such a fun and typical countryside experience.

This is the kind of walk I could do again and again. The combination of nature, history, good food, and local charm made it a truly enjoyable day in Vaals.
