Tour '26 - Stage 6️⃣: Boston 🏙️ to Cape Cod 🦈 🛥️ ☀️

This ride was A LOT tougher 🥵 than anticipated due to the rolling hills and headwinds after I left Boston trying to make it to the northern tip Cape Cod. Not to mention the complications I experienced at the campground once I had arrived. 😖
Earlier in the day, I called the campground in Provincetown but they wouldn’t take reservations for a single overnight stay (min. 3 nights for online reservations). However, they had still (5) tent sites available apparently. Guy on the phone: “Just show up at the gate when you get here and we will assign you a ⛺️ site. Bring cash 💵!”
‘Easy enough’ was my thought. Instead of hoping to arrive around 9:30 pm, I didn’t make it to the campground until 10:45 pm. 😳 And then the guy at the gate told me he had just sold his last available tent sites. 😱
Since this wasn’t the first time for me being in a dilemma like this, I searched the campground for any available sites regardless of what he said. Sure enough… Site 55 was not occupied! 🥳
I setup camp around midnight and figured I pay the $99 for the site at the office first thing in the morning.

2) Central campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.)
3) TD Garden - Home of the Boston Celtics 🏀
4) German 🇩🇪 sailboat „Gorch Fock“, which had just arrived from New York City due to 250th 🇺🇸 Anniversary two weekends ago.
