This is a sort of circular tour of the Red Lake in Romania, though when I started it looked decidedly grey.
The start is marked clearly by a signpost and is off a car park by a couple of hotels.
To begin, it's mainly in woods. After a while, there is a split in the path: the left-hand path goes to an observation deck for the lake. It is not far and I regret not taking it. The right-hand path continues the circuit of the lake.
There are a couple of short but steep descents before you reach the flat path around the lake that slowed me down. More agile people I am sure would take them in their stride.
Once you are on the flat, the way is easy and you can look back to the mountain that towers over the Red Lake.
I stopped recording when I reached the group of stalls having first visited the wooden statue of a saint.
There are information boards around the lake, but they are in Hungarian and Romanian.
This is a fairly easy tour with views of the lake and the mountain.
