Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz in Eisenberg vorhanden (Bezahlung erfolgt über eine App). Man kann mit dem Auto auch bis zur Schlossbergalm fahren, die ungefähr auf halber Strecke zur Ruine liegt. Von der Burg aus hat man einen schönen Panoramablick auf die Tannenheimer Berge. Man kann die Tour auch als Rundweg planen und Stopps zum Beispiel auf der benachbarten Ruine Hohenfreyberg oder dem Burgenmuseum in Zell einlegen.
