A scenic 4-hour adventure through the hidden trails of Sredna Gora.
Starting from the village of Buta, the route crosses open meadows, forest roads, natural springs and beautiful mountain landscapes. The climb passes through ancient beech forests, offering shade and a unique atmosphere rarely found outside Bulgaria's old mountain ranges.
The first destination is Mount Listec, a peaceful summit surrounded by flower-covered clearings and panoramic views. From there, the route continues northwest towards Mount Sakardzha, where unusual earthworks and ridge formations can be seen on the summit.
Along the way there are views towards Panagyurishte, the Asarel-Medet mining complex and the rolling ridges of Sredna Gora.
A perfect route for hikers, mountain bikers, e-bikes, motorcycles and ATV riders looking to explore lesser-known parts of Bulgaria.
