An incredible hill day tackling Cadair Idris. This is a beautiful walk, witnessing lush forests with waterfalls traversing through, onto open moorland and then views over the Lyn Cau lake, as you gain some height.
This 10km/6mile route takes in gorgeous views over Snowdonia National park and even as far as the sea!
After you reach the Trig point, you will see the refuge shelter, which is great for a break / put on some clothing, before the ridge.
Theres a rocky descent, before rejoining the path back to the carpark. You can alternatively bag another peak, before descending.
