Really interesting short walk with information boards and Hawkshill Ww1 aerodrome. Lord Warden estate has a lot of history too. Before the flats were built, the area was occupied by Walmer Place, a grand country house set in approximately 16 acres of landscaped grounds overlooking the sea. The mansion was built in 1901 and enjoyed spectacular views across the English Channel
