Warning about shepherd dogs near Cobor

After leaving the forest trail and reaching the road toward Cobor, I was suddenly surprised by a pack of shepherd dogs. They appeared out of nowhere and charged in my direction, turning a peaceful ride into a very tense experience.

Instinctively, I kept control of my bicycle and continued riding very slowly, avoiding any sudden movements or attempts to speed away. Inside, however, I was terrified. There was a moment when my heart seemed to stop, and it felt as if the dogs were getting closer and closer.

I kept moving forward at a slow pace, trying to remain calm, until they finally lost interest and returned to the flock.

I must admit that, at that moment, I truly thought I was going to be devoured by the dogs. Fortunately, staying calm and avoiding impulsive reactions made all the difference.

For anyone planning to cycle through this region of Transylvania, here is a warning: shepherd dogs are common and highly protective of their flocks. If you encounter them, slow down, stay calm, and avoid any actions that could be perceived as a threat.
