Absolutely outstanding gravel ride. A local gem in my opinion. A long unrelenting climb through the forest on a mostly nice gravel surface with some asphalt mixed in along the way, rewards with view of the stunning Lac Chavonnes. A short transition is followed by an initial descent on asphalt- be careful of cars and hikers especially on summer weekends - then it’s onto an amazing gravel descent through the forest back to Aigle.
