In Erfüllung eines Gelübtes aus dem Jahr 1658 machen sich die Schweinhütter alljährlich am Pfingstmontag auf nach Bodenmais und tragen ihre Anliegen zur Madonna von Loreto in der dortigen Pfarrkirche Maria Himmelfahrt. Nach dem Gottesdienst und einer Stärkung im nahen Hotel geht es den Weg wieder betend zurück.
