A small walk through Stewartby to the start of the Rookery circular, although you can park closer to the start, kept on route for a while and then ventured off onto the public footpath ways, some great views and lots of bird song along the way (Highlight so far was a Startled Buzzard launching of the railway bank brushing over head). Kept on to Millbrook station where I crossed onto the Marston Vale paths, Quick stop at the forest Center for a Mocha and then carried on around Stewartby Lake joining back onto the Rookery circular. A nice 12k back to my start line, lots of views across lakes and hedgerows, plenty of benches along the route also for rests.
