Day 1. 38°C, dust in everything, climbs that just wouldn’t quit, and a full loaded bike that somehow kept moving forward. Started looking for gas canister to either fit our burner or at least have e Camping Gas screw interface. Nothing, only pierce-through canisters. And we had to split the ride till Taznakht over two days...
Tried to camp at an oasis. Got kicked out. With no strength left, we ended up picking our tent in a dry riverbed instead, which turned out to be full of frogs. Fell asleep to the loudest frog chorus you’ve ever heard. Wouldn’t change it.
