Am frühen Vormittag machte ich mich zu einem Besuch nach Essen auf. Die schöne Vittinghoff-Siedlung zeigte sich in kontrastreichem Schatten-Licht-Spiel. Diesmal fuhr ich über das Gelände der Zeche und Kokerei Zollverein. Ein kleine Schafsherde betätigte sich vor dem SAANA-Gebäude als natürlicher Rasenmäher. Durch die Baustelle der neuen Stadtbahn waren Goldschmidt- und Herkulesstraße teilweise unpassierbar, daher fuhr ich einen lästigen Umweg durch das Stadtzentrum.
