from our own homestay
the countless journeys
walking not to escape
but to live life deeply
beside Tay water
darkened by its own depth
constellations
of foam swirl like thoughts
repeating – this is good
blackthorn blossom
a declaration
made loud by bees
our world still has a chance,
just stop and listen
this old way,
its hollow full of sun
and sorrel
each white bloom a promise:
this is a moment lived well
among gorse and broom
coconut incense
giving way
to juniper and pine
with each breath we live
