Kapiti Island ist eine Insel die unter Naturschutz steht. Wir hatten eine Übernachtung in einer einfachen Holzhütte, direkt vor unserer Hütte gab es seltene Vögel wie Takahe, Kaka, und
Weka zu. Bei einer Nachtwanderung haben wir endlich Kiwis und Pinguine gesehen. Einfach Toll.
