The area I wanted to explore was in the western parts of Yeosu. I rode my bike in the afternoon over Seosondo Bridge to the start of the Anshimsan trail. I was keen to hike this mountain after I set my eyes on it from the hike up the Rocky Mountain view point at Yi Sun Shin Park early this morning. Anshimsan Mountain looked like it might have some nice views of Yeosu and the outlying islands from the peak.
Not long after lunch, I was taking in the views from the peak of Anshimsan. It didn’t disappoint, neither did the pine tree ridge that made its way up to the peak. The best part of the hike was the exercise stations on the ridge with no other hikers present. I had the entire mountain to myself.
