Last stage of this memorable trip.
A long day on tarmac: one initial climb and then a straight run toward Marrakech.
We got one last taste of Moroccan hospitality. While we were riding, a van pulled up next to us, a guy smiled and said “Hi friend!”, and from their fruit-selling van they handed each of us a pomegranate before driving off.
We stopped in Essahrij for lunch and for a little “souvenir": 2 kg of delicious dates 😍
The last few kilometers were a bit tiring as traffic increased, and the final 2/3 km inside the city were a bit sketchy, but honestly nothing worse than an Italian city 🙂
We finally returned to the same riad we had left 9 days earlier, hearts full of wonder… and definitely ready to change into some clean clothes 😁
