Die vierte Etappe unseres Abenteuers führte uns nach einer erholsamen Nacht im Gasthof Platterwirt zum größten Teil abseits des Meraner Höhenwegs. Zunächst ging es hoch zum Gipfel des Rossruggen und dann östlich über den Gebirgskamm zum Abstieg zurück auf den Meraner Höhenweg. Ziel unserer Etappe war der Krusterhof oberhalb von San Martino.
