This is a pretty hard hike! Somehow the app did not record all the details correctly.
It is 12.6 miles round trip, 4,271 feet elevation gain, we were on the trail for 9 hours.
Deluge lake is a beautiful setting. Hiking up to Grand Traverse Peak, 13,058 feet is one of many Colorado’s 13ers, required some trail finding from the lake to the saddle and then up to the Peak. You can also access Mount Valhalla from that trail.
It was a beautiful and pretty warm August day. The views were spectacular!
