Die Tour ging eigentlich von Kronberg über Frankfurt-Höchst und dauerte vier Tage, mit Übernachtungen in Darmstadt, Heppenheim, Gernsheim. Sie wurde mit Kindern (8 bis 12 Jahre) unternommen und jede Tagestour hatte ca. 50 bis 60 km. Steigungen kommen kaum vor. Je einmal wurde der Main und der Rhein mit der Fähre überquert.
