With its network of cycle paths and quiet roads, the Chablais region is perfect for a relaxed ride with family or friends. This easy 32-kilometre loop starts and ends at the UCI World Cycling Centre in Aigle and follows mostly flat terrain—ideal for beginner to intermediate riders or as a recovery spin.
The route takes you along peaceful, low-traffic roads and dedicated bike paths, including a section on the Rhône cycle path. At no point does it feel busy or stressful, making it a great option for those who want to enjoy the scenery at an easy pace.
Located right next to the cycle path, the UCI World Cycling Centre is more than just the headquarters of the Union Cycliste Internationale. It’s home to a world-class training centre and also welcomes the public with a café and a small exhibition space inside the velodrome. It’s the perfect starting point for this ride—and a great place to relax afterward.
At around kilometre 18, the route brings you close to the shores of Lake Geneva. Take your time here to enjoy the view—or even treat yourself to an ice cream.
Back in Aigle, the restaurant “Le Vélodrome” is ready to welcome you with a coffee, snack, or full meal. And if you're with children, there’s a pump track just a few steps from the café terrace—perfect for letting them burn off some energy while the adults unwind.
If needed, you can easily shorten the loop to suit younger riders or those looking for an even easier outing.
