Svarttjønnet is a beautiful small lake enclosed by mountains and rock walls on all sides. The water is shallow, full of fish and perfect for a swim. There is a small shelter and fireplace at the lake, but you have to take your own firewood.
The first part of the route is uphill, but once at the top it is fairly flat. The last kilometer you have to cycle on a rocky dirt road which goes slightly uphill. But it's all worth it to get to the lake.
If you still have enough energy left, you can continue your tour with the 'taste of Fåvangfjellet and Øyerfjellet' cycling route.
