San Fruttuoso è raggiungibile solo da mare o con sentieri. L'escursione parte dalIa chiesa di San Rocco e seguendo via San Nicolò si arriva fino a Punta Chiappa.
Da Punta Chiappa si sale per arrivare alle "Sentinella" e poi alle Batterie.
Si continua sul sentiero e al bivio si prosegue a destra ignorando il sentiero che sale al Semaforo Nuovo, qui inizia ora il tratto “per escursionisti esperti”, dove s’incontrano i primi passaggi attrezzati su roccia.
