Rondane - day 1: evening climb to the Rondane plateau

Arrived in Ringebu at 8pm, parked at the station, packed up the bike, and started straight into the climb — almost 1000 m of ascent up to the plateau. The road is paved the whole way, which takes some of the sting out of it, and the traffic falls away the higher you get. The reward came as I climbed: the sun setting behind the mountains the whole way up. Magical.
