This route was planned by komoot.
We start at the car park of the swimming pool. We take small, steep alleys to the panoramic path. It winds its way along above the Rambla de los Santos. Once we reach the bottom, we change sides and climb the mountain on steep paths. We come to a drivable path and follow it further up the mountain to the Los Monjos farmhouses. We pass through olive groves and many flowering almond trees. We continue to follow the path and pass another farmhouse, La Abruvilla. This has already been partially restored. After a while, we turn onto the terraces and follow a small path to the Cortijo de Haza Mocha. Now we follow another ravine, which we also cross. Soon we see the town and in front of it the Castillejo. The descent is moderate to the river. Finally, we climb steeply up to the town.
