This route was planned by komoot.
For Apple Cycling Day 🍊 today the weather was different than in previous years, perfect - warm and sunny. The best prerequisites for a successful day of action by the Gehrenberg-Bodensee tourism community. I planned to ride the Apfelradl circuit counterclockwise and stick to the route as closely as possible. That almost worked. In Bermatingen I skipped the church and in Ittendorf I visited Steffelin and therefore varied the route. I skipped the Stotz Hof, where there was also a program. The location is a bit off the route, a mistake I was told later🤔.
https://www.gehrenberg-bodensee.de/tour/apfelradlrunde/ Yesterday the apple bike day took place on this route, but I didn't have time and the weather wasn't really good either. Today the temperatures were still autumnally cool but there was no rain, although the clouds were sometimes dark gray depending on which direction you were looking. I rode the lap counterclockwise today and only left out the stretch between Urnau and Roggenbeuren in the D'Tal. The tour organized by the Gehrenberg-Bodensee Tourist Association was inaugurated at this time last year and has now been expanded somewhat. From Ahausen it's now to Ittendorf and only from there to Markdorf - in my opinion a clear improvement, since you no longer have to drive on the (hiking) path through the NSG Eisweiher at Markdorf.
On the apple hiking and cycling day we reached four farms that were full of people at a folk festival. Each farm also had brass music. A great day.
