The cycle tour along the Elbe-Havel Canal takes you, as the name suggests, from the Elbe to the Havel. The starting point is the Hohenwarthe double spar lock. Since Hohenwarthe has no rail connection, you can also consider starting the tour a little further in Burg. Your destination is the Havel lakes in Kirchmöser, right next to the train station, so you can easily get back to your starting point.
From the double spar lock near Hohenwarthe, the path initially takes you directly along the canal to Burg. Shortly afterwards, you branch off from it, cross it once and cycle across meadows and fields. Now you even get to see the Elbe again.
For a few kilometers, you follow the Elbe cycle path through the Jerichower Land. It is worth making a short detour to Zerben to visit the castle that inspired Theodor Fontane to write his novel “Effi Briest”. If you want, you can also take a refreshing break at the bathing lakes, which are located directly at the turnoff to Zerben.
A short time later, you leave the Elbe again and head back to the Elbe-Havel Canal behind Parey. You follow this from Bergzow via Genthin to Wusterwitz. The Great Wusterwitz Lake is an excellent place to end your tour in a relaxed manner and invites you to have a swim or an ice cream on the waterfront promenade. The cycle path ends in Kirchmöser at the train station. If you want, you can also take a little ride around the many lakes on the Havel before you start your way back.

Comments
Only first gear with support was possible.
You have to be economical with the battery.
But otherwise another beautiful route. Different than originally planned.
