An easy tour with lots of information about life in the forest. Suitable for families. Lots of huts and places to stop and rest. It's a long way, but the bus will take you back. It generally runs hourly, including on weekends.
In and of itself a very nice tour that is easy to walk. It is probably better to do it by bike, as almost the entire route is asphalted. What I liked were the many shelters and places to sit along the way. The information boards on the nature trail were also very informative.
Good bus connection between Bad Berka and Blankenhain. You can also start the tour from Bad Berka.
