The itinerary I propose is a circular tour of the Cansiglio, a pre-Alpine plateau between the provinces of Belluno, Treviso and Pordenone.
The tour takes place mainly along the paths of a majestic beech and fir forest, which is why I recommend using a gravel bike or a mountain bike.…

This route was planned by komoot.
Mainly dirt road on well-beaten gravel and without major difficulties. The only two real climbs are on asphalt and are one at the beginning of the tour and the other at the end. Highly recommended from spring to autumn. I would only avoid it in winter and immediately after a period of heavy rain.
a semi-sudden day off ... and off we go ... (even if I took the wrong road and shortened the tour by 5 km) .... to be redone very soon .... beautiful beautiful .... the colors, the silence, the peace ...
Ring tour on the Cansiglio starting from the Crosetta pass. The tour is covered entirely on a forest road. The play of colors and the intense scents of the undergrowth make the atmosphere of this magical forest. From top Pizzoc you can enjoy a 360° panorama that ranges from the plain to the sea, up to the imposing Dolomite peaks such as Marmolada, Pelmo, Antelao.
Beautiful ride feasible with Gravel but certainly more comfortable with amortized mtb
Today we had to interrupt the tour before tackling the last climb to help a mtbiker, crossed by pure chance, who got sick, we hope he can recover soon❤️🩹. Congratulations to the Belluno helicopter rescue that intervened in record time, while we struggled a little to alert them, given that even in 2022 the Cansiglio is practically devoid of cellular coverage 🤔
Tour of the Cansiglio clockwise starting from the Piana del Cansiglio
