Filey Beach

Highlight • Beach

Filey is a quaint coastal town, between Scarborough and Bridlington, nowhere near as busy and chaotic as those though. Plenty of attractions to keep you entertained for the day, and some of the best fish and chips ive ever had.

Filey Beach

Highlight • Viewpoint

Filey started out as a fishing village and grew to a seaside resort during the Edwardian period. It has much more genteel feel than other, much busier, resorts along the coast, with a long sandy and sheltered beach.

The route starts at the train station, but there isn't and parking, fine if your getting off the train, otherwise you can park near the Armastice Memorial, in the village. Easy route to follow, a few steep sets of stairs and gradients, but not a difficult route.
