Another glorious late summer day, so we went shopping in Saalfeld. On the way back, we wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather a bit, so we drove up the Katze and then back down to Langenschade. Once we arrived in Rudolstadt, we drove across the Große Wiese to Schwarza. It was another successful morning.

By chance I started the tour later, which was a good thing, otherwise I would have been caught in a rain shower near Kolkwitz. Everything was fine, wonderfully fresh air, birdsong and a lovely scent of elderflower accompanied me for large parts of the route.
A tour I can recommend. 🙋‍♂️

Glorious sunshine and off we went on our bikes. Today's tour took us to Rudolstadt, then on to Langenschade, from there via Katze to Saalfeld, and from there back to Schwarza. The route followed only cycle paths and side roads. It was another wonderful afternoon.

Real November weather, what do you do? It's supposed to be really good. I had to go to Saalfeld anyway, so I drove via Rudolstadt to Langenschade, from there via the Katze and to Saalfeld. Did what I needed and then back to Schwarza. A wonderful trip.
