Another beautiful hike on the Hümmling Trails is the Kapellenmoor. Along the approximately 6.5 km (4.1 miles) trail, you'll learn a lot about the surrounding area and nature from numerous information panels. There are several benches and seating areas along the trail. The highlight is the 8-meter-high observation tower with views of the Kapellenmoor.

Today I was on the shortest of the Hümling paths. It's quite nice, with lots of benches to sit and two lookout towers. A relaxed round if you don't have much time.

Beautiful path along the chapel ditch. However, after 3.8 kilometers I had wet feet. And a section along a field was barely walkable, the narrow strip was uneven and overgrown with weeds. Overall, I really liked the tour. Despite the proximity to the freeway, it was very quiet and the route was well signposted. You don't need navigation.
