Llangorse Café

Highlight • Cafe

A beautiful stretch of pebble beach named after Llanrhudlad Church which you can see from the sea. The beach is a lovely play to swim, relax under the sun (if you're lucky) and watch the sunset. To reach the beach, take the steep path down from the village. It's best to leave your bike somewhere at the top.

If you're hungry, there's a good restaurant known for its lobster here.

Traeth y Fydlyn Beach

Highlight • Natural

A shingle beach tucked away on the coast, sheltered by rocky islets, Traeth y Fydlyn beach is stunning. You can easily spend hours exploring the rock pools and caves that back on to the beach.

You'll find the beach at the bottom of a wooded valley, next to a small lake. Bear in mind that there's no lifeguard on duty so take care if you decide to swim.

View of Holyhead Mountain

Highlight • Natural Monument

Holyhead Mountain in the distance is the highest point on Holy Island, Anglesey. It lies about two miles west of the town of Holyhead, and slopes steeply down to the Irish Sea on two sides. Ireland can be seen from the views on a clear day and the cliffs below are an important site for seabirds.
