The nice thing first: for a sunny Saturday during the school holidays we were almost alone on the road :)
It starts at the small hiking car park at the Fürschlacht. The ascent over the Veitsbergalm was very promising and sunny. The descent from the Riedebenalm was rather boring through the forest.
The Gasthaus Wastler in Riedenberg is highly recommended: …
