November 29, 2025,Die Salamander vom Bielstein
A short hike today takes us to the Innerste River near Lautenthal. On the way to the Bielstein, we spotted fire salamanders. They must have found their winter quarters too boring. From the Bielstein, we continued to the Mandolinenhütte (Mandolin Hut), and after a steep descent along the Innerste, we returned to Lautenthal.

At the beginning of the route do not go through Schützenstr. go! You would have to cross private property and they make sure you stick to it! So better little dangling around. Rest of the route very varied and beautiful. Especially the last stretch of geological trail!

After 4 weeks without Harz, I was overcome with longing 🤣Before going to Wincent Weiß's concert in Bad Harzburg that evening and celebrating my birthday, I took a little hike around Lautenthal on the way there ☀️💪

HiH² with greetings from the Harz Mountains. Today again for the beautiful view (in a double pack) and a little higher to the final summit with a beautiful view over Lautenthal with 🌇

Started from the Innerstestausee we went to the (HWN 142) Mandolinenhütte.
And finally to the beautiful view up to the summit of the Bielstein.

Hey there,
we were a bit out of breath today, and we've cut it back considerably. We want to circumnavigate the Oker Dam soon when the weather is nice, and we need to get closer to the 20 km mark. We'll be fine.
Bye with ü
