Chrüzhütte Bannalp – Cable Car Station and Start of Dwarf Trail

Highlight • Rest Area

The cable car station Chrüzhütte is the ideal starting point for a hike with children (for lowlanders only from 6 years, not suitable for pushchairs)

Bannalper Schonegg

Highlight • Mountain Pass

Already with the Bannalper Schonegg the view is fantastic and the way to the Chaiserstuel not far away.

Starting point of our tour was the mountain station of the Bannalp aerial cableway (Oberrickenbach NW). It is already at 1713 meters above sea level. and thus guaranteed above the fog upper limit. The approach takes place in a pleasant slope over alpine terrain, before it goes up steeply to Bannalper Schonegg. We reached the summit via the south ridge, where we are impressed by an impressive view and far view.

Our chosen route was: Chrüzhütte, Urnerstafel, Bannalp, Bannalper Schonegg, Chaiserstuel, Räckholteren, Chrüzhütte

The Chaiserstuel is a popular and snow sure ski tour and snowshoe summit in the alpine terrain.
