Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Snow, San Gregorio

This 15th-century sanctuary, also known as San Gregorio, stands halfway up the hillside above Predore. From Piazza Vittorio Veneto, you can climb up in about 25 minutes through narrow streets, past the Rino waterfall, and up the final staircase of 288 steps. From the churchyard, the view sweeps over the lower Lake Iseo, the peat bogs, and the plain.
