On Saturday shortly after 10 a.m. the time had come – my first 4000er! :-)
Due to the glacier breaking off, we did not go over the Trift glacier as planned, but from the Almagellerhütte (2,896m) over the Zwischbergenpass and the rocky south ridge up to the summit. Thanks to the excellent weather, we were rewarded with a fantastic view …
