Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge Wilhelmshaven

Highlight • Bridge

The bridge is worth seeing as a historical building. From here you have a beautiful view over the inland ports of Wilhelmshaven and the southern part of the city. And …

The promenade on the south beach is beautifully designed and invites you to linger. The maritime flair and the good gastronomy make it perfect.

Dangast Harbour

Highlight • Beach

Dangast is a place, I think, where almost everyone feels comfortable! Everything is easy here. Even the dogs are welcome in the spa hotel Dangast and the local sandy beach.

Finally a view over the Jade Bay to Wilhelmshafen and a well-visited beach. So far the tour, always up the high dike on the right, has been a bit monotonous.
Varel harbor excluded.

No more nice tour. 47 of 60km are right on the ls ausuten stinking federal highway on partly miserable paths. On the wrong side of the dike.

First we cycled to the passenger/bicycle ferry to Wilhelmshaven on the south beach. Then we took the ferry to Eckwarderhörne. And finally we cycled back to Wilhelmshaven. The tour is about 8km shorter because Komoot includes the ferry ride, but Garmin doesn't. One way WHV - Eckwarden 18€ per person with bike.

Start and finish: Beckmannsfeld near "Kunst am Deich"
From here along the dyke to the diversion onto the road to Varel (unfortunately not found the transition to the floating moor).
Long distance driven on the bike path on the street, then on the bike path along the dike to Vareler Hafen.
We ate great fish here and continued on the …

Today I did a relaxed lap around the breast 😆. What is meant, of course, is the Jadebusen. Start and finish is the port of Varel. Via Dangast we continue in the direction of Wilhelmshaven. The Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge is very beautiful here 🌉. From Wilhelmshaven we take the ferry ⛴️ over to the other side to Eckwarderhörne and from …

Round the Jade Bay.
Wadden Sea, bird watching and sightseeing in Wilhelmshaven.
Hints:
Note the ferry times.
Construction site near Stollhamm - here it goes along the road.
Often a strong wind and always felt from the front 😀.

Jadebusen ... without a doubt a word with a melodious sound that inspires all kinds of fantasies and possibly fuels the hope of finding lots of precious stones here. Jade is known as a lucky charm, is said to have a variety of healing effects, lead to clarity and harmony, evoke tolerance and inner peace and make people more empathetic. …

Start at the Helgoland-Kai in Wilhelmshaven, over with the passenger and bicycle ferry to Eckwarderhörne. First along the dyke, then on the (rather boring) diversion route to Dangast. First recording 😊 🥗🐟 ☕️ at the beach café, then further on and next to the dike to Wilhelmshaven. This section of the route was the most beautiful part of this 🚲 …

Today I made it happen and cycled around the Jade Bay😎
From Tossens I went to Eckwarderhörne, where I took the ferry to Wilhelmshaven. I thought the price of 18 euros was quite steep, but it's no use, there's no other way to get across😉
In Wilhelmshaven you start right at the naval base, where you can see a few …
