A circular tour through the hills near Padenghe on Lake Garda. We pass several castles. The most impressive, Castello di Drugolo, appears to be privately owned, but is certainly well protected from prying eyes. Instead, there are plenty of olive trees, vines, corn without cobs (sorgum), and views along the way.

A disappointment was Drugolo Castle, which is now a privately owned hotel and the once public pathways through the property are no longer in use.
