The Vorsperre circular trail on the Dhünn is, despite the 11 km, a hiking trail that is easy to walk, as it has hardly any noticeable inclines / declines. In some places the path is a little muddy due to forest work with the harvester, but still doable. Overall a premium hiking trail at a premium dam.

A lovely, leisurely walk around the Große Dhünn foreshore dam. I only encountered a few drops of rain along the way.

Towards the end of the tour, I unfortunately scared away quite a few cormorants. No, I didn't walk through the woods, but rather quietly and respectfully along the forest path. Black cormorants are very skittish.
