Suggestion from Komoot; 300 m before Katharinenhof I deviated on the way back to avoid the asphalt road to the golf course and to walk the rest of the way on a forest path. Pleasant to walk. There were sections where I felt like I was in a green tube, the vegetation on the edge of the road and path …

Beautiful sunshine until half way through, then rain and sleet showers - real April weather (in March). The path partly runs parallel to the Bliesgauer and Rubenheimer Brunnenweg.
The forest was full of cowslips 😍
