Grain mills and towers

Highlight • Other

On the path that goes up to the city, we come across superb mills.

Once numerous in the region, they are now mostly rehabilitated as second homes!

They add a certain charm to the small town of Domme!

Domme - a town high above the Dordogne Valley.

Our hike started in Cenac, up to Domme and its bastide. Once there, we walked through the charming streets of the town. Shop windows selling wine and Périgord specialties abounded. The main street ended at the village square, known as the Balcony.
