Picture-perfect weather, -9⁰C and wonderful views of the Vogtland start/finish Mühlteich in Hauptmannsgrün. The snow crunched under our hiking boots and we were spared the wind in the first part. The only downside: the Grüner Balken hiking trail does not exist in the lower part near Mühlteich and we were denied the view of the Göltzschtal bridge from the Oberheinsdorfer …
